This handsome brushed-chrome slow cooker is similar to Rival's 6445-BC 6-1/2-quart model. Added to this model for extra convenience is a warm setting for keeping a meal at just the right serving temperature. Oval in shape and holding a generous 6-1/2 quarts, the cooker suits a large family or a couple who likes to entertain. The heavy stoneware crock lifts out of the heating base for easy cleaning thanks to a stick-resistant coating, and is attractive enough to serve from right at the table. While the crock is safe for use in the microwave and dishwasher, it is not intended for use on a stovetop or under a broiler.

With two cook settings, low and high, the pot can slow cook a wide variety of stews, roasts, and soups, recipes for which are included in the owner's guide. The glass lid, also dishwasher-safe, sends moisture back into the pot while at the same time allows contents to be viewed. The loop-style lid knob and improved sure-grip handles are heat resistant.
